Christmas Time

Top tips for the Christmas period:
 

1. Frankincense – smells amazing and very festive! Breathe it, bathe in it or burn it… its soothing, meditative and gives you a sense of wellbeing, helping you remain calm during the festivities.

2. Look after your skin – the central heating and cold weather can dry your skin. Cleanse your skin religiously morning and night and exfoliate your skin 2-3 times a week to remove dead skin cells. To treat your skin – first use a serum (a drink for your skin), then a facial oil (a food for your skin) and finally a moisturiser (protection for your skin). 

3. Eat and drink - drink lots of water to hydrate your skin and counterbalance those additional alcoholic drinkies during the holidays. Eat lots of brussel sprouts which are high in beta carotene and vitamin C which have antioxidant properties. Carrots are high in Vitamin A (great for your skin) and turkey which will give you Vitamin B (helps prevent skin ageing) and zinc (healing).

4. Don’t forget your lips – use a good lip balm to hydrate and moisturise and finish with a lipstick or gloss – luscious!
